Our Pinot Noir grapes grow on deep layers of Loess, the most typical type of soil in our wine region. The vineyards are situated just outside our small hometown Neudegg in the very northern part of the Wagram. The grapes are carefully selected and handpicked. Fermentation takes place in harvesting boxed with 1/3 of destemmed grape bunches. Maturation in 300 l oak barrels, which were crafted of wood sourced from our nearby Mannhartsberg forests, takes about 2,5 years.
Not an insider tip anymore – meanwhile, it is definitely among our customer’s favourite wines!
