Grüner Veltliner
Neudegg 2022
Fresh citrussy notes, paired with slight bell pepper and hay, give the typical Grüner Veltliner impression. Smooth butter, buscuity and white bread aromas express the long ageing on the lees and create a quite full bodied, long lasting experience.

Our small hometown Neudegg is not only the northernmost village in the Wagram wine region but it is also located among those at higher altitudes. The handpicked and carefully selected grapes grow on deep Loess soils, approximately 320 m above sea level. Together with a particularly tranquil climate and very little intervention in the cellar, Neudegg wines are charming, elegant and have a lot to tell.
.
Grüner Veltliner is the main variety in our winery. Roughly 40 % of all area under wine is planted with Grüner Veltliner, hence we procued a lot of different wines out of Grüner Veltliner. Besides Grüner Veltliner Neudegg we produce the very popular, fresh and fruity Grüner Veltliner Wagram. Ried Wadenthal Grüner Veltliner on the other hand is complex and intense in character. Additionally, there is Eisweis. Eiswein is only produced in special years and can only be harvested at minus 7° C. No matter what type of Grüner Veltliner – it really feels at home.
