The handpicked and carefully selected grapes grow on deep Loess soils, approximately 320 m above sea level. Together with a particularly tranquil climate and very little intervention in the cellar, Neudegg wines are charming, elegant and have a lot to tell.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00fcner Veltliner is the main variety in our winery. Roughly 40 % of all area under wine is planted with Gr\u00fcner Veltliner, hence we procued a lot of different wines out of Gr\u00fcner Veltliner. Besides Gr\u00fcner Veltliner Neudegg we produce the very popular, fresh and fruity <a href=\"https:\/\/mehofer.at\/en\/wein-shop\/white\/gruener-veltliner-wagram\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gr\u00fcner Veltliner Wagram<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/mehofer.at\/en\/wein-shop\/white\/wadenthal-gruener-veltliner-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ried Wadenthal Gr\u00fcner Veltliner<\/a> on the other hand is complex and intense in character. Additionally, there is <a href=\"https:\/\/mehofer.at\/wein-shop\/suess\/eiswein-gruener-veltliner-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eiswein<\/a>. Eiswein is only produced in special years and can only be harvested at minus 7\u00b0 C.
